“Yoga has been in my life for over 7 years since I was 18 years old, when I first started Yoga I was practising to build strength in my knees, post surgery, and then leading into a Meditation journey as I fell in love with it. Yoga has become a ritual that I do everyday. I feel I have improved who I am as a person in every way possible. Yoga has changed my attitude that I have to the external world, my attitude towards others and my attitude towards myself. I have become a better person, not only with strengthening my body, but also calming the mind, creating energy, learning to be grateful, and so many more benefits. I hope to inspire other people to do the same.”
For the last 5 years Emily has been travelling around Asia and Australia, certifying her qualification in the home of Yoga – Rishikesh, India, in 2016, and also going back in 2019 to further her knowledge qualifying as a 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainer. She has taught in Malaysia, Australia, Morocco, on a cruise ship and back home in the UK, being a Mindful Living coach and now she is back in Hull for the foreseeable.
Emily’s classes have been described as traditional authentic, starting and ending every class with 3 Aums and 3 Shanti’s, to create powerful vibrations, leading you into pranayama (breathing techniques) bringing you completely to the present, preparing you to melt down into your physical practise.
